A paper register at the gate is slow and hard to search. With Nest, visitors scan a QR code and fill in a short form on their own phone. The guard and the flat they are visiting see the request immediately, and every entry and exit is saved.
How it works
Visitor scans the QR code. A QR code is displayed at the gate. The visitor scans it with any phone camera; no app has to be installed.
Short form. The visitor enters their name, mobile number and purpose of visit, and chooses the flat they are going to.
Guard and host see it. The request appears on the guard's screen and for the host flat, so the guard can check and let the visitor in.
Entry and exit are recorded. The guard marks the visitor in and out. The society keeps a searchable history of who came, when, and to which flat.
What your society gets
No paper register, and no handwriting to decode
The guard does not have to type; the visitor fills in the details
A date and time record of every visit, for the society admin and guards
Optional visitor log for amenities such as the clubhouse
Who uses it
Visitor: Scans the QR code and fills a short form; nothing to install.
Security guard: Sees the request, lets the visitor in and records entry and exit.
Resident: Is the host flat for the visit.
Society admin: Prints or displays the QR codes and can review the visitor history.
Questions
Does the visitor need to install an app?
No. The QR code opens a simple web form in the phone browser.
What details are collected from visitors?
Name, mobile number and purpose of visit. They are shown to the host flat and to the guards of that society. Our Privacy Policy explains how this information is used.
Can we keep a log for the clubhouse or hall too?
Yes. A visitor log can be switched on for an amenity, with its own QR code.
