Parking management for residents, staff and guests
Parking disputes are some of the most common complaints in a society. Nest lets the admin create all parking slots in a minute, allot them to flats and staff, and lets the guard give guest slots at the gate, with the vehicle number recorded.
How it works
Create slots in bulk. The admin enters a prefix and a number range, for example P-001 to P-050, with the area and the vehicle type (car, bike or any). Existing slot numbers are skipped.
Allot to flats and staff. Resident slots are allotted to flats, and staff slots to staff members. A flat can have more than one slot.
Guests at the gate. The society keeps a set of guest slots. The guard parks a visitor's vehicle in a free guest slot by entering the vehicle number and guest name, and frees the slot when the guest leaves.
See it at a glance. The admin sees how many slots are allotted and how many are free, and can search by slot, flat, staff member or vehicle number.

Questions
Can one flat have several parking slots?
Yes. Any number of slots can be allotted to a flat.
How are guest slots handled?
The admin creates slots of the guest type. The guard marks a slot as in use with the vehicle number, and frees it when the guest leaves.
Can we have separate slots for cars and bikes?
Yes. Each slot is marked as car, bike or any vehicle, and can be placed in an area such as Basement 1.
