Nest by Olynux

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-28

1. Who we are

Nest by Olynux ("Nest") is a society management service operated by Olynux ("we", "us"). It helps housing societies manage residents, bills, visitors, notices, amenities, staff and expenses.

For any question about this policy, write to [email protected].

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, mobile number, email address, role (resident, guard or staff, society admin) and the society and flat you belong to.

Society records entered by users: bills and payment records, notices, visitor entries, SOS alerts, amenity bookings, staff attendance and salary records, expenses, marketplace listings and enquiries.

Visitor information: when a visitor fills in the visitor-pass form after scanning a QR code, they give a name, mobile number and purpose of visit. This is shown to the host flat and to the guards of that society.

Website enquiries: name, mobile number, email, society name, city, message and, if you came from a referral link, the referral code.

Technical information: language choice, device and browser details, and logs needed to run and protect the service.

Ads: we record how many times an ad is shown and clicked. We do not build advertising profiles of individuals.

Payments: when online payments are available, they are handled by payment providers such as Razorpay or Stripe. We do not store your card, UPI PIN or net-banking details.

3. How we use information

To create and run accounts, and to show each society's records to the right people.

To deliver features such as bills, visitor passes, SOS alerts, notices and bookings.

To answer enquiries, give support and contact societies that asked for a demo.

To calculate platform fees, income reports and referral rewards.

To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and meet legal duties.

4. Who can see your information

A society's records are visible only to people of that society, according to their role. For example, residents see their own bills and notices, guards see visitor entries, and society admins see their society's records.

Authorised Olynux administrators can access data when needed to operate the service, give support and prevent misuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Service providers

We use trusted providers to run Nest: database and sign-in hosting (Supabase), website hosting and delivery (Cloudflare), web fonts (Google Fonts), a QR code image service, and payment providers (such as Razorpay or Stripe) once online payments are enabled. They process data only to provide their service, under their own privacy terms.

Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India.

6. Ads

Residents, guards and staff may see a small sponsored message once per session. Society admins do not see these ads. Residents can choose an optional ad-free plan.

7. Browser storage

Nest stores small items in your browser to work properly: your sign-in session, language choice, a remembered referral code and whether an ad was already shown in this session.

8. How long we keep information

We keep information while an account or society is active and for as long as needed for legal, accounting and security reasons. You may ask us to delete your account data, except records we must keep by law.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by writing to [email protected]. We follow applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Many records belong to your society. For those, your society admin may also need to act on your request.

10. Children

Nest accounts are created for adults by society admins. Children should not create accounts on their own.

11. Security

We use secure (HTTPS) connections and role-based access rules to protect data. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your login and codes private.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
